چکیده
Definition 1.1. Let (X, τ) be a topological space. A subset D ⊆ X is called dense if D ∩O 6= ∅ for every nonempty open set O ⊆ X. X is called separable if X has a countable dense subset. X is called metrizable if there is a metric d on X such that the topology τ is the same as the topology induced by the metric. The metric is called complete if every Cauchy sequence converges in X. Finally, X is a Polish space if X is a separable topological space that is metrizable by a complete metric.

ON THE FUZZY SET THEORY AND AGGREGATION FUNCTIONS: HISTORY AND SOME RECENT ADVANCES
Several fuzzy connectives, including those proposed by Lotfi Zadeh, can be seen as linear extensions of the Boolean connectives from the scale ${0,1}$ into the scale $[0,1]$. We discuss these extensions, in particular, we focus on the dualities arising from the Boolean dualities. These dualities allow to transfer the results from some particular class of extended Boolean functions, e.g., from c...
متن کاملTowards a descriptive set theory for domain-like structures
This is a survey of results in descriptive set theory for domains and similar spaces, with the emphasis on the ω-algebraic domains. We try to demonstrate that the subject is interesting in its own right and is closely related to some areas of theoretical computer science. Since the subject is still in its beginning, we discuss in detail several open questions and possible future development. We...
متن کاملMartin’s Conjecture, Arithmetic Equivalence, and Countable Borel Equivalence Relations
There is a fascinating interplay and overlap between recursion theory and descriptive set theory. A particularly beautiful source of such interaction has been Martin’s conjecture on Turing invariant functions. This longstanding open problem in recursion theory has connected to many problems in descriptive set theory, particularly in the theory of countable Borel equivalence relations. In this p...
متن کاملThe descriptive theory of represented spaces
On the surface, the emergent descriptive theory of represented spaces is the extension of both classical [36] and effective [52] descriptive set theory from its usual setting of Polish spaces to the much larger class of represented spaces. There is far more to it, though: By extending the setting, suddenly connections to areas such as category theory (with a certain topos-theoretic flavour) and...
متن کاملΩ-powers and Descriptive Set Theory
We study the sets of the infinite sentences constructible with a dictionary over a finite alphabet, from the viewpoint of descriptive set theory. Among other things, this gives some true co-analytic sets. The case where the dictionary is finite is studied and gives a natural example of a set at the level ω of the Wadge hierarchy.
متن کاملD ec 2 01 6 RANDOMNESS VIA INFINITE COMPUTATION AND EFFECTIVE DESCRIPTIVE SET THEORY
We study randomness beyond Π11-randomness and its Martin-Löf type variant, introduced in [HN07] and further studied in [BGM]. The class given by the infinite time Turing machines (ITTMs), introduced by Hamkins and Kidder, is strictly between Π11 and Σ 1 2. We prove that the natural randomness notions associated to this class have several desirable properties resembling those of the classical ra...
